Laser is the oldest Czech genre publisher. We have printed the best of world and domestic sci-fi, fantasy and horror literature since 1990.

We primarily focus on the best of the world science fiction, fantasy and horror production – from Andy Weir’s astronauts to Tad Williams’s wild kingdoms to Dmitry Glukhovsky’s dystopian stories. We also increasingly penetrate into various subgenres, such as Travis Baldree’s cosy yet fantastic cafés, the magic reality of Kevin Hearne’s urban fantasies, harsh and dark visions of Lair Barron, cold and deep space of Alastair Reynolds, or Ruby Dixon’s faraway hot planets. We newly publish hopeful Czech authors too.
