This superb publication of photographs presents the most beautiful, important, interesting architectonic, cultural, historical and natural sights in the Czech Republic. The book is written as a tour guide that takes its readers (us) on a trip through beautiful countryside, historical centres of ancient/old towns as well as to visit castles, chateaux and architectonic gems of our modern times.The tour starts in Prague. After a walk brief walk around Hradčany and the city centre, we set out to visit the ancient castles Křivoklát, Karlštejn, Sychrov, Bouzov or Zvíkov. We stroll through the Grandmother's Valley, around the lakes of Šumava, descend into the Macocha abyss, climb up the Broumov rocks or the Sněžka mountain… The wanderings around the Czech lands will take us to places that influenced the course of history of this country - Bezděz, Kokořín, the Říp Mountain, Brno, Velehrad, Olomouc, Radhošť… After a visit to Ostrava, we continue our journey into Jeseníky Mountains where, on the top of the Praděd Mountain, we end our travels.
